THIS WEEK'S MATCHUPS:
Dan T. (Inferno) vs. Jeremie (Shorn Beaver)
Paul (Strictly Business) vs. Marc (Ron Mexico's Shi-Tzu)
Chris (Wyld Stallyons) vs. Mike (Malicious Intent)
Eddie (Armenian Assassins) vs. Tom (SD Spankfest)
Dan L. (Hebrew Hammer) vs. Uncle Joe (Mongrels)
Nick (Purple People Eaters) vs. Kevin (Motor City Madman)
MATCHUP-OF-THE-WEEK:
Nick vs. Kevin. There are many reasons why this matchup of 0-1 teams trumps all the rest. The fact that they're both 0-1 is one of them, as neither want to be the one to go 0-2. The mental image of Nick squirming at the prospect of having to root against his favorite player/man crush Adrian Peterson is another. But most importantly, when these two get together, the trash talk is exquisite. Get ready for a lot of, "Great, I play Richard Simmons' cabana boy"s this week.
LEAGUE NEWS & NOTES:
-We already have our first trade of the season, and surprisingly Marc was not involved. In a move that seemed like a good idea at the time, Paul sent RB Cadillac Williams and WR Donald Driver to Eddie for RB Willie Parker and WR Torry Holt. Then this week's games played out, and now it looks like an early candidate for "bonehead move of the year."
-Fractional points were a big hit and are likely here to stay.
THE “POOP LIST”
No one makes the "poop list" this week. Tom gets a pass for playing the inactive Steve Breaston because, while injured, he did practice all week and was expected to play.
