WEEK 12 RECAP:
The league record winning streak is 12 games. Dan T., following Week 12 action, has won 10 straight and continues to barrel along like a freight train towards a repeat title. This week was a close one for him as he eeked out a narrow win over Marc behind the ever-impressive Peyton Manning. He has a two-game lead with five games left: still time for Uncle Joe to catch him, but with each passing week the window of opportunity gets closer to closure. Speaking of Uncle Joe, he stayed two games back with a victory over Eddie and increased the points lead he seized last week by an additional 10 points over Paul. It was a very big week for Jeremie as well, as thanks to Drew Brees and Charles Woodson, posted the highest score of the season in dusting poor Nick. Congratulations to Jeremie on a great week. In other games, Dan L. won the "battle of the homoerotic trash talk" against Kevin behind Matt Schaub and Pierre Thomas. Chris had an impressive week with Phillip Rivers and Jamaal Charles leading him to a win over Paul. And finally, in a low-scoring stinker, Mike and new Buffalo starter Fred Jackson put the boot to Tom.
