WEEK 13 RECAP:
After a week of upsets Paul is now in first place by his lonesome and slowly gaining on Uncle Joe in the points race. However, this week's spotlight is on Marc, who proved that no matter how bad your season goes, it pays to stay with it until the end. Marc has suffered an uncanny number of key injuries this year but still managed to win his first $20 prize in an upset of Uncle Joe. Congratulations to Marc! Marc was not the only one to play spoiler though, as Eddie notched up a big victory over Jeremie thanks to Carson Palmer. Paul moved back into first place by himself after Larry Fitzgerald led him to victory over Tom. Kevin jumped right back into title contention with a hard-fought win over an unlucky Dan L., who scored well in the loss. But it's hard to beat Tom Brady and when Frank Gore gets it going, look out. The other Dan fared much better, as Peyton Manning led him to victory over Mike. And finally, Dennis put the final nail in the coffin that has been Nick's season, eliminating him from title contention with a victory inspried by Chad Johnson.

THIS WEEK'S MATCHUPS:
-Jeremie (Shorn Beavers) vs. Paul (Strictly Business). Matchup-of-the-week. The two were tied for first coming into last week, now Jeremie looks to get back to being tied (oh boy, Dan L.'s gonna have a field day with that).
-Dennis (Sinned 76ers) vs. Tom (SanDiego Spankfest). An important matchup for both as the loser may face elimination depending on the outcome of Jeremie/Paul.
-Eddie (Full Hairy Jacket) vs. Marc (Ivana Green Booger). Same story here, with a loss Eddie is eliminated, and with a loss coupled with a win by Paul, Marc will be eliminated.
-Uncle Joe (Mongrels) vs. Dan L. (Hebrew Hammer). The league's best rivalry features two teams heading in opposite directions. Uncle Joe looks to stay in contention, while Dan L. just looks to get it over with.
-Kevin (Motor City Madman) vs. Dan T. (DanT's Inferno). An enticing matchup of Tom Brady vs. Peyton Manning, not to mention two teams still in the thick of the title hunt.
-Mike (Iron Insanity) vs. Nick (Vengeance). Two old Reno buddies get ready to slug it out. Nick has little to play for but Mike still harbors title hopes.

LEAGUE NEWS & NOTES:
-The trade deadline is this Friday, November 30, 2007. That's when the season officially ends for Marc. At least it comes on a Friday so you have a good excuse to go out and drink your sorrows away, Marc.
-Don't forget, Dallas and Green Bay play a Thursday night game on the NFL Network. So if you have any Cowboys or Packers on your rosters be sure to get them into your lineups right away.
-At seven games back with five left to go, Nick has become the first to be mathematically eliminated from title contention this season. Better luck next year, Nick.

The "POOP LIST"
Mike makes the "poop list" for the dreaded third time this season. Reports surfaced as recently as last Monday that Brandon Jacobs would not play due to an injured hamsting. He didn't practice all week, then was declared inactive on Friday. Yet on Sunday he was still in Mike's lineup. Please remember to check your lineups, preferrably as close to gametime as possible for greater accuracy.
