WEEK 13 RECAP:
Week 13 was a very high scoring week with all but 2 owners hitting the century mark. But none scored higher than Paul, who is now in the driver's seat to winning the records title. Paul defeated Jeremie thanks in large part to Tony Romo and a combined 47 points from his defense of Brian Urlacher, Patrick Willis, and Nate Clements. With that victory he won his fourth $20 prize of the season and opened up a 2-game lead with 4 to play. Among those 2 games back is Kevin, who surprisingly fell short on Monday night to Dan T. Dan got 33 points from Peyton Manning and now moves into a 4-way tie for second with Kevin, Jeremie, and Uncle Joe, with the latter still holding onto the points lead. Uncle Joe got Adrian Peterson back just in time, and the Minnesota workhorse paid handsome dividends as Uncle Joe defeated Dan L. A close and entertaining game saw Marc and Derek Anderson send Eddie to a disappointing defeat. Tom's team gelled just in time to knock Dennis out of title contention, and LT did most of the dirty work. And finally, Nick picked up a victory over Mike thanks to identical 22-point scores from Steven Jackson and Vince Young.

THIS WEEK'S MATCHUPS:
Mongrels (Uncle Joe) vs. Dan T. (DanT's Inferno). A critical game for both as they are tied for second place.
Dennis (Sinned 76ers) vs. Sean (Iron Insanity). Sean's first game in the league couldn't be much easier than injury-riddled Dennis.
Jeremie (Shorn Beaver) vs. Tom (SanDiego Spankfest). Jeremie needs a win to stay within striking distance of the title, but Tom has scored well in recent weeks.
Marc (Ivana Green Booger) vs. Paul (Strictly Business). With one more win Paul's magic number will be one. Can Marc play spolier this week?
Kevin (Motor City Madman) vs. Nick (Vengeance). Can you sense the conflict within Kevin? Tom Brady vs. his Steelers in a key game for his title hopes.
Eddie (Full Hairy Jacket) vs. Dan L. (Hebrew Hammer). Better luck next year, fellas. But give it your best nonetheless.

LEAGUE NEWS & NOTES:
-Following Week 13 action, Dennis, Eddie, Tom, and Marc have all been mathematically eliminated from title contention.
-As we all know by now, the Commish has decided to remove Mike from the league effective immediately. Throughout the year Mike has repeatedly played injured or bye-week players (Todd Heap, Brandon Jacobs, Chester Taylor, Terry Glenn, Antonio Pierce), has not responded to trade offers, has not posted on the message board, and has made questionable lineup decisions (such as consistently playing Donovan McNabb over Brett Favre). Last week Mike committed his third "poop list" violation by playing an injuried Brandon Jacobs, which resulted in his being placed on probation. When he played Brandon Jacobs again this week, it became clear Mike is paying no attention to his team. The Commish decided he could ill afford to wait until next season and made the immediate move to take Mike's team away from him. Unlike the last time he was booted, Mike will not be given a second chance next season. His participation in "Obsessed With Sundays" is now over. The Commish would like to thank Mike for all his past contributions to the league and for six good years of fantasy football. In the meantime, Mike will be replaced by Sean Takenaga. Sean is a solid fantasy player who will be a good addition to the league. Please join me in welcoming our new addition to the league. Mike's team will continue to exist in his name with all roster and lineup changes being made by the Commish at Sean's request and suggestion (essentially, Sean will run the team throught the Commish, that's the only way to do it under Yahoo as you cannot remove an owner once the season has started). Mike will not be refunded any portion of his entry fee but any winnings Sean earns these last four weeks will go to Mike.
-Thursday night's game features Washington and Chicago. If you have any Bears or Redskins to play, please have them in your lineup before gametime Thursday.

THE "POOP LIST"
Mike's playing an injured Brandon Jacobs resulted in a fourth "poop list" violation and Mike's immediate removal from the league. Dennis' playing of Charles Woodson is boarderline because of his questionable status all week and the availability of other suitable defensive backs on the waiver wire. But Dennis will be given the benefit of the doubt for playing Woodson as he was a gametime decision and it was a Thursday night game. Plus Dennis works in the service industry, meaning he is extra busy because of the holidays. Dennis, you already have two "poop list" violations this season. Please don't get another one.
