WEEK 16 RECAP:
There are plenty of headlines in what could have been a quiet week with the records title already decided. First, the winning streak is over. Dan T.'s record-setting run of 14 straight wins came to an end Monday after Tom and Kurt Warner put up enough points for someone to finally overcome our champion. Congrats to Dan on what was a terrific run. Our weekly $20 prize winner, as has been the case so many times this season, is Uncle Joe, who overcame Steven Jackson's injury to trounce Jeremie behind Chris Johnson and Ryan Grant. He gained some ground on our points leader, Paul, who got a solid all-around team effort in defeating Dan L. Randy Moss and his three touchdowns lead all of Paul's scorers in that one. These three results set up a one-week dash for the points title between Paul, Uncle Joe, and Dan T. Paul lead Joe by 28.54 points and Dan T. by 51.69 points. With the way these three have been scoring like crazy all year, the points title is still anyone's to grab.

In other action, Nick and Chris put up a game that is perhaps the front-runner for "game of the year" in their matchup. Nick was able to pull out a close victory thanks to his performers on Monday night, but it was his Sunday tandem of Tom Brady and Jonathan Stewart that did most of the damage. Good game, congratulations to both of you. While not as high-scoring, Kevin and Marc also put on a show, with Kevin edging out his much shorter by two points behind Adrian Peterson and Marion Barber. And last but not least, Donovan McNabb and Ray Rice lead Eddie to victory over Mike.

 -Nick vs. Paul and Kevin vs. Uncle Joe. The only two things left to fight for are the points title and the last weekly $20 prize. Paul sports a lead of just under 30 points over Joe, which is not nearly enough to feel comfortable about. Dan T. still has an outside chance to win the title but trails by more than 50 points and has an injury-depleted roster. Which Shindelus will (likely) walk away with the title?

LEAGUE NEWS & NOTES:
-There are no Thursday, Saturday, or Monday night games. All games will be played on Sunday. Sunday's battle between Cincinnati and the New York Jets will be the last game of the 2009 season.
