WEEK 3 RECAP:
That sound you hear is Uncle Joe establishing himself as a lion in a cage full of marmots. With a commanding performance led by Jay Cutler and DeSean Jackson, Uncle Joe soundly defeated Nick enroute to his second straight $20 prize. Establishing himself early as the team to beat is a scene we've seen played out many times with Joe, often leading to a championship at year's end. Could that be the forecast already? Well, there's still a lot of football to be played. Both the last remaining undefeated teams suffered their first loss this week. Jeremie was pasted by Marc, who unleashed Aaron Rodgers and Felix Jones like mutated Shi-Tzus on his vanquished foe (okay, that was lame). Mike got out to an early lead but in the end wasn't able to hold off Paul, the steady Eric Weddle, and the coming-around Brandon Marshall. The losses of these two owners leave seven teams at 2-1, among them is Dan T., who got a stellar performance from Peyton Manning and finally got solid production from Santana Moss in dropping Kevin to 1-2 on the season. The "other" Dan is also 2-1 after thumping Tom behind Matt Schaub and a resurgent Pierre Thomas. And finally, we saved the best for last. The top game of the week was Chris defeating Eddie in a high-scoring romp behind...wait for it...Maurice Jones-Drew. In what is sure to be a topic of conversation all year, MJD outscored Adrian Peterson this week and is now down 2 weeks to 1 in a battle that will be watched as closely as any.

MATCHUP-OF-THE-WEEK:
-Dan T. vs. Uncle Joe. Two of the winningest owners in league history, both with 2-1 records, collide. Uncle Joe has put up terrific numbers lately and has won the last two weekly prizes. Dan is the defending champion and has broken the 100-point barrier every week so far. The bye weeks don't appear to favor either owner, so this one ought to be good.

LEAGUE NEWS & NOTES:
-This is the first week of byes in the NFL so play close attention and be sure to bench your players on a bye. This week's byes include Arizona, Atlanta, Carolina, and Philadelphia.
-Marc has finally made his first trade of the season (is the new record? Week 3?), although not a biggie. He acquired RB Larry Johnson from Paul for RB Rashard Mendenhall.

THE "POOP LIST"
