WEEK 6 RECAP:
For the first time this season we have someone all alone in first place. Dan T., courtesy of an exciting win in a high-scoring game against Chris, is 5-1 and all alone atop both the records and points standings. Even with his big gun Peyton Manning on a bye, Dan prevailed thanks to solid production from DeAngelo Williams and Hines Ward. He takes over first place from Paul, who falls a game back thanks to Nick, who got near record-setting production from Tom Brady. With 6 TD passes and 51.2 fantasy points, Brady fell just .8 points short of Shaun Alexander's all-time record of 52 fantasy points. This sets up a showdown between Dan and Paul this coming week with first place likely at stake. In a week where quarterbacks shined, it's no surprise that our $20 winner was a guy whose QB, Matt Schaub, brought his A-game. Mike scored well but Dan L. dismantled him behind new acquisition Thomas Jones and the aforementioned Schaub. Don't look now but Eddie has won two straight, while poor Marc has lost three straight- the former defeated the latter behind the impressive Ray Rice. If the game between Dan and Chris wasn't the best of the week, the game between Tom and Jeremie was. Tom eeked out a narrow victory over our honeymooner with consistent production across the board (5 players scoring in the 15-17 point range, including Steve Stayton, who may be starting to heat up). And finally, Jay Cutler, Chris Johnson, and Steven Jackson came through for Uncle Joe as he stuck it to Kevin.

For the record, this may have been the first time in league history when all twelve owners broke the 100-point barrier in a given week. Congratulations to the league on this achievement.

MATCHUP-OF-THE-WEEK
Paul vs. Dan T. Not much doubt about this one. Two of the most decorated owners in league history duke it out with first place likely on the line. Paul will be without Brandon Marshall due to a bye week, and Dan will be without Kevin Smith, so both will be close to full strength. Which one of these titans will be left standing come Tuesday morning? Tune in and see!

LEAGUE NEWS & NOTES:
-This week's byes: Baltimore, Denver, Detroit, Jacksonville, Seattle, and Tennessee.
-The Commish is taking sign-ups for someone to do the weekly recap following Week 14. If you're interested, please let him know. Recaps written by other owners in the past have generally been excellent.

THE "POOP LIST"
No one makes the poop list this week, maintaining the league's perfect record. The Commish is tempted to ding Paul for playing Matt Hasselbeck and ding Kevin for even owning Edgerrin James, but he won't. :)
