WEEK 8 RECAP:
The weeks go by, and Dan T. appears to tighten his grip on a possible repeat. While there's still lots of time to go in the season, and greater collapses have happened, a two-game lead after eight weeks isn't easy to overcome. This week, Dan got a very good scare from Mike and Matt Ryan, but in the end he pulled out a victory behind DeAngelo Williams and Justin Fargas. Lurking two games behind are a series of owners, including Paul, who sits in second place after defeating Jeremie behind Tony Romo and Tim Hightower. Also at 5-3 is the other Dan (a.k.a. the "other white meat"), who squeezed out a win over Marc behind Pierre Thomas and Vincent Jackson. The last 5-3 owner is Uncle Joe, who's quietly won three straight, including this week's destruction of Tom with Steven Jackson and superstud Chris Johnson leading the way. Our $20 winner this week was Eddie, who secured his first money of the year after sticking it Nick behind Donovan McNabb, Reggie Wayne, and Michael Turner. Congratulations to Eddie on a job well done. And finally, in the matchup we've all been waiting for, both Chris and Maurice Jones-Drew came through and defeated Kevin and Adrian Peterson in true grudge-match style.
