WEEK 8 RECAP:
Week 8 action has left Jeremie sitting atop the fantasy football world. Behind strong performances from Joseph Addai, Reggie Wayne, and Braylon Edwards, Jeremie defeated Nick and won the $20 for the week. In addition, his victory and high score were enough to propel him into the points lead and sitting atop a three-way tie for the records lead based on his higher point total. The week's big game saw former points leader slap around former records leader Paul behind the ever-impressive Tom Brady and two touchdowns from Hines Ward. Jeremie, Kevin, and Paul are all tied at 6-2 with Jeremie holding the tiebreaker. In other action, the weeks' best contest saw Dan T. and new acquisition Marques Colston edge the injury-riddled Marc in a high-scoring and close affair. Another close and high-scoring game saw Mike edge a resurgent Tom thanks to big games from his Eagles (Westbrook, McNabb) and 24 points from Mike Vrabel. Defending champion Uncle Joe is now just one game back after he and "Big Ben" Rothlisberger defeated Eddie. And finally, Dan L. and his inspired Chargers Phillip Rivers and Antonio Gates stuck it to Dennis.
